Processed foods are located in the most fancy shelves of the supermarkets. Has anybody ever told you not to buy processed crackers and biscuits from the market? Or other snacks that are called to be “healthy”. These comfort foods were always within an arm reach whenever you need them. Know the source of your food. Consume local food. Locate markets around you in which local products are sold. Ask where your food is coming from. Meet producers, contact them, order from their farms. This way you’ll also be supporting local producers.
Consume real drinks. Quit canned drinks. Yes, all of them. Say hello to 1 liter of water every day. I love my infused water with cucumber, lemon and ginger! Try to replace your coffee with white tea. Drink herbal teas (of course natural ones, not tea bags). You have limitless access to fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and smoothies. Make few glasses of green leafy smoothie part of your weekly routine.
Meet the seeds. Learn to sprout. No packaged breads anymore. Replace them with seed breads, buckwheat and quinoa flours and if possible sprouted raw breads.
